A bit different

Hi,Happy Monday to you all. It's a Glorious Day here and I have walked miles with Challis the lil gorgeous Silver Blue Staffi. Also Cat Sitting all week.

I do not have anything for Easter, one stamp which is not suitable for a man.Do you think the Text overwhelmes the image too much.It doesn't look too bad IRL.By the way,St.Agnes has made National News, but not in a  good way.The picture ( On Yahoo ) shows a Holiday Home down the beach with Graffiti all ove the outside walls. Now,while I DO NOT condone this behaviour,I do understand why it was done, but don't want to say anymore.xx

  1. Because you have stamped your image twice I think the sentiment is okay, it would have dominated with just one stamp, hope you enjoyed your walk xx

  2. It is a really sweet stamp and looks great stamped twice, it would look lovely just stamped once with a smaller text stamp too (or you could computer generate and print the greeting if you don't have a small one.
I can see why feeling are running high over the lack of affordable housing in the West Country, must be awful for locals to see properties rented out, short term, for huge sums when they are desperate for somewhere to live- but it doesn't excuse vandalism!

  9. That's such a cute little image, perfect for Easter. I think problems with people buying property as second homes or holiday homes is apparent in many tourist areas, it certainly does become a problem when it encourages price increases which local people are unable to afford, or it takes up housing which forces local people out of the area.

  11. Hi Lee, I think the sentiment looks just fine and those cute birds are great for Easter.
I can see where they're coming from with the graffiti. It must be so frustrating to see those homes left empty. I noticed that Wales have increased their tax to up to 300% on second homes or empty homes. So it will be interesting to see if that helps.
Hope you are both well. Sounds like you've been out dog walking loads. Yes, my youngest daughter is pregnant and grandson number 2 is due at the end of April. So excited.
